Insulated Metal Shop in Jacksonville, Oregon

When a client in Jacksonville, Oregon, needed an insulated building to use as a private shop, he tasked Metal Building Outlet with designing and supplying a shop to fit his needs.

Metal Building Outlet created this clear-span metal shop building, delivering the kit to the erection site in February 2023. The shop has an open, column-free interior characterized by a lack of interior obstructions, and it also features high ceilings that make it even more versatile.

The shop has great curb appeal thanks to Ash Gray exterior paint and a combination of Ash Grey and Hunter Green trim, and the roof is also Ash Grey, giving the shop an attractive and uniform look. There are also gutters and downspouts lining the roofline, which help keep the building watertight despite the area’s heavy seasonal rainfall.

An insulation package keeps heating and cooling bills low and building users comfortable throughout the year. The roof features a 6” layer of R-19 insulation, while the walls hold 4” of R-13 insulation with VRR+ facing.

The ship also meets or exceeds all building codes in place at the erection site, which the buyer verified before signing off on building design plans.
