Prefabricated Steel Shop Building in Lexington, Kentucky
Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this pre-engineered steel shop building to Lexington, Kentucky, in May 2024.
Durable, versatile and easy to customize to meet the owner’s needs, the building has a spacious clear span that creates an open, flexible interior floorplan. High ceilings leave plenty of room for vertical storage or shop space, and a hardy, corrosion-resistant steel roof keeps the interior clean and dry.
The metal shop features three points of entry; one traditional entry door and two large overhead garage door openings ideal for moving vehicles, machinery or other large items in and out. The building also adheres to the building and energy code requirements in place across Lexington, which the client verified with the local building department before finalizing the building’s design.
In addition to supplying the steel building kit, itself, Metal Building Outlet also included a Kentucky engineer-stamped foundation plan to maximize stability and longevity.
