Prefabricated Steel Park Shelter in Big Springs, Nebraska

Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal park shelter for a community park in Big Springs, Nebraska, in March 2024.

Designed to give park visitors and community members shelter from the rain, snow or sun, the mostly open-air metal building is a great place to enjoy picnics, relaxation or time with loved ones. The steel shelter has one Polar White wall with matching trim, while the remaining three walls remain open, allowing for views of the surrounding park.

The building’s clear-span design eliminates the need for interior columns or trusses, maximizing space for picnic tables, social gatherings and activities. Overhead, it has a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof offering reliable protection from the elements. Spacious, long-lasting and low-maintenance, the metal shelter serves double-duty as both a community gathering place and a safe spot to escape inclement weather when the need arises.
