Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel shop building for a client in Mohave Valley, Arizona, sending the building kit to the jobsite in April 2022.

The walls of the shop contain R-10 insulation rolls, while the roof has an R-38 Energy Saver insulation system that offers impressive thermal performance, helping regulate interior temperatures year-round.

The shop building has an attractive, eye-catching exterior thanks to Ash Grey walls, Charcoal Grey trim and a Solar White roof that reflects the sun, reducing the amount of heat the structure absorbs. There are also 11 windows in several sizes that let natural light in, limiting the owner’s reliance on artificial lighting.

Other practical metal building customizations include gutters and downspouts that divert water away from the shop’s roof and foundation and 2’ overhangs that create covered outdoor space the owner can use for work or storage.
