Steel Agricultural Building in Idaho Falls, Idaho
A resident of Idaho Falls, Idaho, wanted a custom, insulated steel building to use for agricultural purposes and Metal Building Outlet answered the call, delivering this steel building to Idaho Falls in mid-April 2023.
Bright, airy and spacious, the clear-span steel agricultural building has high ceilings and a wide-open floorplan that provides plenty of storage space for tractors, animals or farm equipment. Continuous eave light panels along the front and back side walls let plenty of natural light filter inside, and roof and wall insulation packages help prevent condensation while keeping the interior of the metal farm building comfortable for year-round use.
The building’s walls contain 4” of R-13 insulation, while the roof houses 6” of R-19 insulation with VRR vinyl facing covering the side of the blankets facing inward. The farm building also sits atop piers, and the building features a low base girt to allow for this. Metal Building Outlet also supplied an Idaho engineer-stamped foundation plan to help maximize the building’s overall stability.
