Agricultural Metal Buildings in Sedalia, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet provided these (4) prefabricated metal buildings for a buyer in Sedalia, Colorado, in July of 2015.
Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the (4) buildings together create a barn area. The first building stands 22’x50’x15’ and has a 2:12 roof pitch, while the second and third buildings are equal in size and stand 12’x50’x11’ with 1:12 roof pitches. The fourth and final building is 10’x50’x10.2’, and it, too, has a 1:12 roof pitch. All (4) buildings are crafted from top-quality steel components, and the roofs are all made of corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal.
Inside are a total of (7) framed openings, which include (2) 10’x10’ openings housing (2) 10’x10’ overhead doors and (5) 4070 openings harboring (5) Dutch-style 4070 walk doors. Installed in the structures’ roofs and walls is R-10 building insulation, which reduces energy bills considerably while helping maintain comfortable, consistent temperatures year-round. A wind speed rating of 110 mph and a snow load of 35 lbs. serve as additional features and were included in consideration of the variable climate of Sedalia and the surrounding region.
A census-designated place in central Colorado’s Douglas County, Sedalia sits about 17 miles from Franktown and 9 miles outside Castle Rock.
