Steel Building in Anna, Texas
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Anna, Texas, in early April of 2015.
Boasting bright white paint, the building is crafted from premium steel components, and now operates as a shop for the owner. It stands 70’x140’x16’ when fully erect and is covered by a hard-wearing galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside the shop building are (18) framed openings that vary in size and function. Included are (6) 14’x14’ openings, (2) 3070 walk doors, (2) 3050 windows and an additional (8) 3’x10’ skylights to maximize the presence of natural sunlight inside.
With the typical climate of the Anna area in mind, which is characterized by relatively hot temperatures evenly distributed precipitation throughout the year, a wind speed of 115 and a ground snow load of 5 lbs. were engineered during construction.
A part of northeastern Texas’ Collin County, Anna sits about 56 miles from Gainesville and 26 miles from Plano, TX.
