Two Steel Buildings in Atascosa, Texas

Metal Building Outlet supplied two steel buildings in Atascosa, Texas in June, 2013.  Located in Bexar County one building is a Convenience store and the other a travel center with red primer walls – less than half an hour from Devine and San Antonio.

These buildings feature steel components from Nucor and galvalume 2:12 pitch roofs. The buildings are similarly sized 45’x125’x16’ and 50’x125’x16’. There are a total of 6 doors (5) large overhead doors and a standard walk door on these buildings (1) 10’x12’, (4) 12’x12’ and a 3’x7’.

The owner of this building had many questions about the proper insulation for this project and our professional sales staff was able to help educate him on the fiberglass insulation options available and appropriate for the climate and the needs. In the end, the owner decided to use high efficiency R-38 double layer (6” + 6”) insulation for the roofs and R-30 (double layer 6” + 3.5”) and R-25 (single layer 8”) on the walls of the travel center and convenience store.
