Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal farm building for a customer in Austin, Texas, in November of 2019.

Used as a hay bale cover, the steel agricultural building is 60’x100’x18’ in size once raised and has a clear-span design and high overhead clearance, maximizing storage space for hay. Premium-quality steel construction protects stored hay from the elements and unwanted intruders, while a roof comprised of rugged Galvalume steel sheeting sits overhead, offering a slight 1:12 roof pitch.

Other special customizations include a 10-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating, which keep the steel hay storage building in compliance with applicable building codes and regulations. Texas’ capital city, Austin has land in Travis, Hays and Williamson counties. Located in Central Texas, the city sits roughly 75 miles northeast of San Antonio and about 180 miles south of Dallas.
