Insulated Steel Building in Bailey, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this insulated steel building in Bailey, Colorado, in late March of 2015.

Boasting bright white paint and high-performance R-19 insulation in both the roof and walls, the Garco-brand building is designed for keeping energy costs low and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent year-round. Now used as a shop by the owner, it stands 30’x45’x18’ and is covered by a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch.

Additional building features of the shop area include (8) framed openings, among them (2) 10’x14’ insulated overhead sectional doors, (6) 4030 windows and (2) 3070 insulated walk doors for easy user access while maintaining energy efficiency.

An unincorporated community located in Colorado’s Park County, Bailey experiences considerable annual snowfall during the wintertime. With the region’s characteristic climate patterns in consideration, a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 58 lbs. were included at the time of construction.

Bailey sits about 64 miles outside Castle Rock and 40 miles from Golden.
