Steel Workshop in Ballard, Utah
Metal Building Outlet secured this premanufactured steel building in Ballard, Utah, in early February of 2018.
Rugged, energy efficient and engineered to last, the building stands 50’x70’x18’ in size once fully erect, and it now serves as a workshop. An attractive, Desert Sand-colored metal roof with a 4:12 pitch matches the workshop’s Desert Sand exterior, and the shop boasts (11) framed openings varying size, allowing for easy access into the space. Featured are (3) 14’x14’ openings, (1) 10’x8’ opening, (1) 3070 opening, (5) 4’x5’ windows and (1) 10’x4’ framed opening.
To keep shop users comfortable despite Utah’s variable temperatures and sometimes considerable snowfall, the building boasts high-performance R-30 insulation within its roof and R-19 insulation within its walls. A 115-mph wind speed rating and a 42-pound snow load further equip the shop for the rigors of life in Utah. A lightly populated community set within eastern Utah’s Uintah County, the town of Ballard lies about 68 miles northwest of Bonanza and about 28 miles southwest of Vernal.
