Metal Building in Bay Shore, New York
Metal Building Outlet secured this prefabricated metal building in Bay Shore, New York in late December of 2020.
Now serving double-duty as a shop and garage, the metal building features premium-quality steel construction and is 30’x50’x11’ when raised. An open, clear-span design maximizes available floor space, and insulation helps ensure the shop and garage stays comfortable and appropriate for use throughout the year.
The painted roof of the steel building is comprised of rugged steel paneling and has a gable design. Found throughout the steel shop and garage are (3) framed door openings. The metal building also has 3” of insulation with WMP-VRR polypropylene facing in its roof and walls, which keeps energy bills low over the lifetime of the building. Other key building customizations include 16” overhangs along all walls and 3’6” of wainscoting, which enhance the structure’s exterior appeal.
A 130-mph wind speed rating and a 20-psf snow load are additional accommodations made in compliance with local building code requirements.
