Steel Building in Beaufort, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Beaufort, North Carolina, in mid-May of 2020.
Modern, spacious and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the building functions as a shop, offering superior strength and durability. When raised, it’s 40’x100’x16’, boasting a broad clear span that eliminates the need for interior posts or columns and a hardwearing Galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 pitch.
The shop has an attractive, Old Town Gray exterior that blends well with its surroundings, and it also has R-19 fiberglass insulation in its roof and R-13 fiberglass insulation in its walls. The insulation keeps the building comfortable for use throughout the year, and it also cuts energy bills, resulting in substantial savings over time. Other customizations added in compliance with building codes include a 10-pound snow load and a 140-mph wind speed rating.
