Metal Building in Belcourt, North Dakota
Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building in Belcourt, North Dakota, in late June of 2017.
Designed with supreme energy efficiency in mind, the insulated, attractive metal building boasts crimson red paint and stands 70’x100’x18’ in size. Now operating as a shop, the structure is comprised of top-quality steel materials, and a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch protects the interior from above.
Distributed throughout the shop are (9) framed openings varying in terms of size and function, among them (6) 14’x16’ openings enclosing (6) 14’x16’ insulated overhead doors, (2) 3070 openings enclosing (2) 3070 walk doors and (1) 4030 opening equipped with (1) 4030 double-pane window. The building also boasts a high-performance insulation package, with R-30 insulation in the roof and R-25 insulation within the walls. The insulation package keeps energy bills low despite North Dakota’s long, sometimes bitterly cold winters, while a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 60-pound snow load serve as additional project characteristics.
A census-designated place set within north-central North Dakota’s Rolette County, Belcourt lies within the confines of the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation. It lies about eight miles outside St. John and about six miles outside Rolla.
