Metal Building in Belden, Mississippi
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Belden, Mississippi, in early April of 2015.
Now used as a school, the durable, low-maintenance building stands 80’x100’x14’ and is crafted from components from SteelMax Buildings. It features a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch, as well as R-10 insulation in both the roof and walls to keep energy expenditures low and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent throughout the year.
Additional steel building features include a high wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 10 lbs., both of which were added in consideration of the region’s typical climate and weather patterns. Belden and its surrounding areas experience extreme temperature swings and often see strong thunderstorms and occasional tornado activity during March, April and May.
Belden is a community located largely with Tupelo, Mississippi, which is a part of Lee County in northeastern Mississippi. It lies about 48 miles from Aberdeen and 41 miles from Oxford.
