Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Bernalillo, New Mexico in July of 2021.
Now used for agricultural purposes, the insulated metal barn is 30’x70’x14’ in size and features high ceilings and a broad clear span. Comprised of hardwearing, damage-resistant steel parts, the metal barn has an Ash Gray exterior with complementing Charcoal trim. Overhead, it features a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch.
The steel building has (2) framed door openings offering access inside, which include (1) 10’x10’ opening for a roll-up door and (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed opening for a personnel door. It also has insulation in its roof and walls, with the roof featuring 6” of R-19 insulation and the walls featuring 4” of R-13 insulation with heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing.
Additional accommodations made in adherence to local building and engineering codes include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-psf snow load.
