Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Hamilton, Colorado. The building is located in extreme northwestern Colorado in Moffat County and is about 135 miles from Grand Junction and 100 miles from Glenwood Springs. This Nucor building was purchased in September 2013 and is used as a storage and a maintenance facility for a drilling company.

This metal storage and maintenance building features insulation upgrades for the walls, roof and doors with a High R banding system.  The roof is insulated with high quality double layer R-32 insulation with one 4” layer and the other is 6”. Insulating the walls is a single layer of 6” R-19 insulation.  Each of the five doors are steel backed and feature a layer of 3” R-10 insulation.

Adding to the stability of the building in the climate of Colorado’s northern Rocky Mountains, this building is rated for a wind load of 90 MPH and the roof has a snow load rating of 70 PSF.

This building’s five doors allow easy access for equipment.  There are (3) 12’x12’ Amarr Sectional Overhead doors, a 16’x14’ Amarr Sectional Overhead door, and a 3’x7’ walk door to access the building.

The finished size of this metal building is 40’x90’x12.5’ and the roof is a 1.67:12 pitch.
