Metal Buildings in Blue River, Oregon
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of pre-engineered metal buildings in Blue River, Oregon, in March of 2022.
The first metal building, which serves as a shop, features cold-formed steel construction and stands 24’x36’x12’ once erect. The second structure, a metal lean-to, is 10’x36’x9’6” when raised and has an open sidewall. Both buildings are comprised of durable, quality steel components. Both also have corrosion-resistant steel roofs with 3:12 pitches overhead, although the main building’s roof has a gable style and the lean-to, a single-slope roof design.
Offering access inside the buildings are (2) 8’x9’ framed openings for sectional doors, and the main shop building also features an insulation package. In its roof and walls are 3” layers of R-10 insulation with WMP-VRR facing serving as a protective cover on the exposed side.
A high, 50-psf roof snow load and a 120-mph wind speed rating keep the buildings compliant with local building and engineering codes.
