Steel Building in Brewster, Washington
Metal Building Outlet delivered this prefabricated steel building to a client in Brewster, Washington, in December 2022.
Now part of a working, family-owned cattle ranch and cherry and apple farm, the insulated metal agricultural building serves as a safe, dry place for housing animals and has an attached, 15’x55’x13.9’/15’ metal lean-to with a single-slope roof. The farm building has a clear span that creates plenty of open space for housing cattle, agricultural equipment and other assets, and (7) 12”x10” ridge vents keep the building well-ventilated.
The steel agricultural building has 4” of R-13 fiberglass insulation installed in its roof, which boosts energy efficiency while lowering heating and cooling bills. The insulation also helps with sound control and reduces the chances of condensation forming and threatening the building’s structural integrity.
