Metal Building in Buena Vista, New Mexico
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Buena Vista, New Mexico, in mid-November of 2019.
Purchased by a ranch owner to use for hay storage, the building stands 40’x175’x19.5’ in size and is comprised of premium-quality steel components. The metal building’s height makes it well-suited for storing large amounts of hay, while its durable, water-tight construction helps protect hay from moisture, pests and other sources of potential damage.
Protecting the hay stored inside from above is a hardwearing Galvalume steel roof with a slight 1:12 pitch. The hay storage building also boasts several customizations added out of respect for the climate patterns typical in Buena Vista as well as the building code requirements in place at the ranch address, including a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load.
Located in north-central New Mexico, the unincorporated community of Buena Vista is a part of Mora County. The community lies about 54 miles southeast of Taos and about 90 miles, by car, from Santa Fe.
