Steel Carports in Charlotte, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of prefabricated steel carports for a customer in Charlotte, North Carolina in September of 2021.
Providing reliable protection for equipment, vehicles or other goods and supplies stored underneath, the (2) roof-only metal buildings are comprised of durable, sustainable 26-gauge steel panels, with the first standing 16’x81’x12’8”/13’ when raised and the second, 47’x64’x13’7”/4’. Both metal canopies have broad clear spans that eliminate the need for interior trusses or supports, freeing up more usable covered space, and they both have durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs offering coverage overhead.
Engineered to adhere to the building code requirements currently in place in Charlotte, both steel carports also have 10-psf roof snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings.
