In 2012 the Ramlahkan & Sons Steel Mill in Guyana purchased a 100’ x 150’ x 20’ Steel Max building from Metal Building Outlet. It was first shipped to the Jacksonville Port Authority in Florida before being exported to South America. This structure was designed with a wind load of 90mph. Originally they requested the building to be 120’ in length then the purchaser opted to extend the length to 150’.  Since the size change was done prior to production of the build it was no problem to increase the length.

Guyana is one of only a few Caribbean countries which are not islands. Metal Building in San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago

Metal Building Outlet’s most recent shipment to San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago included more than 50,000 square feet of 6” R-19 WMP-VR fiberglass insulation rolls. Also included was a variety of accessories including rolls of facing patch tape and double-faced tape. All products were exported to Trinidad via Biscayne Bay’s Port Miami, in Florida.

San Juan is a beautiful busy town in Southeastern Trinidad between Barataria and St. Joseph.  It is located 25 miles from San Fernando, and 30 miles from Rio Claro. Located off the coast of Venezuela in South America, San Juan is widely-known for its thriving nightlife and rapidly-growing business district.

Steel Building in Castries, St. Lucia

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Castries, St. Lucia. Rambally Funeral Parlor was erected in 2012 in Castries, St. Lucia, located about 24 kilometers from Anse La Raye and roughly 28 kilometers from Dennery in the eastern Caribbean Sea. This 100’ x 150’ x 26’ structure features three 12’ x 16’ framed openings. The metal building has R-13 roof insulation and a wind load of 130 mph – necessary due to Castries’ location within the hurricane belt, and its lengthy hurricane season that runs from June to November. Moisture and condensation-resistant steel structures are also favored by Castries residents and businesses due to the area’s propensity for flooding.

The Steel Max metal building was shipped to Castries via the Jacksonville Port Authority in Jacksonville, Florida. The buyers were so pleased with the products and service they received that they are currently in the process of securing a second Metal Building Outlet structure.

Steel Building in Hermosillo, Mexico

This 120’ x 125’ x 20’ Butler brand used metal building was purchased through Metal Building Outlet in 2012. It serves double-duty as a shop and warehouse in Hermosillo, Mexico. Hermosillo is about 467 miles outside Chihuahua and 542 miles from Tijuana. Nearby notable communities include Miguel Alemán, San Pedro el Saucito, Bahía Kino, Kino Nuevo, La Victoria and La Manga.

This single-slope steel building with a center column is fully sided. It has one roll-up door and one walk door. The building constructed with a 90 mph wind speed. Originally located – but never erected – in Gilbert, Arizona. This structure was shipped by the San Diego-based consumer to Hermosillo, a city in the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora.

Hermosillo has long been a Mexican manufacturing hotspot, and is widely regarded as the primary economic center of the region.

Steel Building in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

This 100’ x 100’ x 12’ Nucor metal building was purchased through Metal Building Outlet in 2010. It was intended as a large school and church in Haiti’s largest city, Port-au-Prince.  Port-au-Prince is located about two miles from Delmas, five miles from Petionville and six miles from Carrefour.

This structure was designed with a 145 mph wind speed rating. The sturdiness and durability of steel buildings is paramount in Haiti, particularly in the wake of a massive earthquake that ravaged the island and damaged numerous structures in January, 2010. Metal buildings are also favored by Haiti residents and businesses because they help control moisture and condensation on the island known for its lengthy wet season that runs from March through November.

Steel Building in Dorado, Puerto Rico

This 50’x60’x16’ Nucor brand steel building purchased through Metal Building Outlet now operates as a container shop in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Dorado is a small town that lies about 15 miles from San Juan and 20 miles from Carolina. Dorado is located along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean and is bordered by Toa Alta to the south, Vega Alta to the west and Toa Baja to the east.

Given Puerto Rico’s lengthy hurricane season that runs June 1 – Nov. 30, the building was manufactured with a 130 mph wind rating. Metal buildings are ideal for Dorado and other Puerto Rico locales due to their ability to reduce moisture, condensation and they can help maintain a steady comfortable interior temperature.  Only the top half of the building had sheeting the purchaser then lined the entire bottom half of the building with container racks. The building was shipped from the Nucor plant in South Carolina to the Jacksonville Port Authority in Jacksonville, Florida before then making its way to its final destination in Dorado.

Metal Building in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico

Purchased from Metal Building Outlet in 2012, this 50’x45’x19’ Powerbuilt metal building is an aircraft hangar in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Cabo Rojo is a municipality along Puerto Rico’s western coast about 43 miles from San Sebastian and 53 miles from Ponce.

Given the building’s purpose, location and the long duration of Puerto Rico’s hurricane season, this Q-style arch building was made of 18gauge steel to accommodate the high wind speed of 148mph. It also features open-ended walls, to allow easy access for the aircraft.

The metal building was shipped from the Jacksonville Port Authority in Jacksonville, Florida to Cabo Rojo. Cabo Rojo has a total surface area of 72 square miles it’s bordered by Mayaguez and Hormigueros to the north, San German and Lajas to the east, Mona Passage to the west and the Caribbean Sea to the south.

Metal Building in Ballinasloe, Ireland

This 50’x200’x19’ used metal building was purchased through Metal Building Outlet in 2011, and now operates as a storage facility in Ballinasloe, Ireland.  Ballinasloe a town in eastern County Galway about 38 miles from the City of Galway and 94 miles from the Irish capital of Dublin.

It was a used Q-style arch Quonset hut building that was stored but never erected in Warren, Ohio. The metal building arrived to its new owners complete with an erection plan, instructions, bolts, flashes and arches. Both end walls had 20’x14’ framed openings so that overhead doors could be installed. It has a 22mph wind speed rating and is constructed of 22 gauge steel for extreme strength and durability. Many Metal Building Outlet consumers favor purchasing structures built in the Q-model design because it suits a wide variety of applications while maximizing usable interior space because it doesn’t have poles, beams or other potential obstructions.

Metal Building in Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera Island, Bahamas

This 45’x75’x16’ metal building was purchased through Metal Building Outlet in 2011. It was intended to serve as the School for Blessed Hope Church in Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera Island, Bahamas.

The building is still pending deliver. It was to ship from the factory in South Carolina to Port Miami, FL before ultimately making its way to Tarpum Bay.  Tarpum Bay, a small settlement and fishing hub located on the small island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas about 75 miles from Nassau and 121 miles from Andros. Tarpum Bay is considered the last fishing village in the island country.

Originally the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, Nevada owned this 100’x400’x30’ metal building it is now used by a mining company Compania Minera El Realito in Mexico City, Mexico. Mexico City is 187 miles from Morelia, 53 miles from Cuernavaca and about 459 miles from Brownsville, Texas.
