Offering optimal durability, the building stands an expansive 60’x300’x20’ in size and is currently in use as a shop. Rugged, durable and exceedingly energy efficient, the building now serves as a workshop and stands an expansive 60’x120’x19’ in size. Comprised of premium-quality steel components, it offers the structural integrity life in the Colorado mountains requires, and a hardwearing, heavy-duty Galvalume roof with a 4:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the interior of the shop from the elements.

The metal shop boasts an attractive, Light Stone-colored exterior that blends well with the surrounding mountain landscape, and distributed throughout it are (8) framed openings. These include (3) 16’x16’ openings enclosing (3) 16’x16’ doors, (4) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (4) 3070 walk doors, and (1) 12’xq10’ opening containing (1) 12’x10’ overhead door.

A high-performance insulation package further equips the building for the sometimes-extreme temperatures and variable climate patterns that come with life in a mountain town, and it includes R-38 insulation in the roof and R-30 insulation in the walls. In addition to keeping energy bills manageable and building users comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures, the insulation helps muffle outside noise, creating a more favorable work environment inside.

Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the energy-efficient hangar offers a finished size of 70’x60’x18’, while a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead.

To ensure interior comfort and minimal energy bills, the hangar features an insulation package. It has R-13 insulation installed within its roof and walls, which also enhances sound control. The hangar also features (10) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose, and these include (1) 62’x16’6” opening, (2) 3070 openings, (6) 4030 windows and (1) 14’x14’ framed opening.

Because the Byers area is prone to variable wind patterns and sometimes-heavy wintertime snowfall, a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional hangar characteristics. Red in color, the 30’x100’x12’ building boasts a hardwearing, complementing green roof with a 4.85:12 pitch, and inside the home are (17) framed openings varying by size and purpose. Included are (8) 3’x4’ openings, (1) 4’x5’ opening, (2) 3’x3’ openings, (1) 30’x7’ opening, (3) 3070 openings and (2) 6070 openings.

Inside the roof, the home features R-30 metal building insulation, while the walls contain R-25 insulation. In addition to lowering energy bills, the insulation package enhances sound control and helps residents and visitors stay comfortable, regardless of the outside temperature.
