Both energy efficient and exceedingly durable, the building stands 40’x60’x12’ in size and is now used as a shop by the owner. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the building boasts a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant metal Galvalume roof with a 4:12 roof pitch. Inside the building are (5) framed openings, among them (2) 10’x10’ openings and (3) that house 3070 insulated commercial walk doors with lever locks.

To reduce energy costs while improving interior comfort and helping muffle outside noise, R-10 metal building insulation is installed in both the roof and walls. A high snow load of 60 lbs. and a wind speed of 90 mph serve as additional building features, and they were included in consideration of Custer’s typical climate.

Located within Mason County in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, the village is Custer lies about 98 miles outside Mount Pleasant and about 50 miles from Whitehall.

Metal Building Outlet was the provider of this prefabricated metal building in Rockford, Michigan.

Durable, functional and easy to maintain, the building boasts a finished size of 40’x60’x14’, and it serves dual purposes as a combination shop and storage area. Covering and protecting the interior of the building from above is a hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and the shop and storage building itself is crafted using high-end steel materials.

Inside the structure is (1) 10’x10’ framed opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ roll-coil door, and a snow load of 35 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 90 mph are included as additional project features. The latter two additions were made in consideration of the ample seasonal snowfall that falls in the region and the area’s otherwise highly variable weather patterns. Metal Building Outlet supplied this top quality steel building to a customer in Onaway, Michigan, in early May of 2014. It now operates as a shop.

Made of Nucor Building Systems components, the pre-fabricated metal building stands 40’x60’x16’, and has a Galvalume roof with a 2:12 roof pitch. It also features (3) framed openings, including (2) 14’x14’ overhead doors and (1) additional 3070 walk door.

With the climate of Onaway in mind, the building was designed with a wind speed of 90 mph. To keep inhabitants comfortable during Michigan’s often harsh winter weather, the building was constructed with R-30 insulation in the roof and R-19 insulation in the walls.

Onaway, Michigan is a sparsely inhabited city in Presque Isle County, in the northern part of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Considered the “Sturgeon Capital of Michigan,” Onaway lies about 31 miles from Cheboygan, Michigan, and about 109 miles outside of Traverse City.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Chelsea, Michigan.  This building is about an hour from both Lansing and Detroit in Washtenaw County in southeastern Michigan.  Used as a riding arena, since December, 2011, this Nucor building showcases the versatility and affordability of metal equestrian arenas.

With a generous size of 80’x180’x18’, this arena is spacious enough to meet the needs of the owners.  The roof features a 6:12 pitch and has a snow load capacity of 17.5 PSF. The arena is rated for wind loads up to 90 MPH, making it sturdy for the climate of southern Michigan.

There are several doors and framed openings on this building.  Of these, there are eight overhead doors (2 – 12’x12’ and 6 – 16’x12’), a 3’x7’ walk door, and 12 – 16’x4’.  Giving the interior of the arena natural light are 6 – 4’x5’ windows.

Constructed using Nucor Building Systems components, the building has (1) framed opening, which is 14’x14’ in size.

Shelby Township experiences considerable annual snowfall that trumps national averages, and with the area’s typical climate and weather patterns in mind, the steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 18 lbs.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this Arch Quonset Hut for storage on Boothby Farms in Mattawan, Michigan. This building was purchased at a used building sale in November of 2011, and the Galvalume-colored building had never been previously erected.

The structure measured 50’x80’x19’ and came equipped with a framed 24’x14’ double sliding door system. Mattawan is located about 15 miles away from Kalamazoo, MI and around 60 miles away from Grand Rapids, MI. Installed in the shop’s roof is high-performance R-19 metal building insulation, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls.
