Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this preconstructed metal building in Pick City, North Dakota, in January of 2020.

Designed to hold its own against extreme temperatures and weather patterns, the building currently functions as a shop and features durable, top-of-the-line steel construction. When erect, it is 50’x60’x16’ in size and has high overhead clearance and a wide clear span that maximize usable space.

The roof of the metal shop has a 3:12 pitch and is comprised of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel sheeting, and (3) framed openings offer convenient access inside. Found throughout the workshop are (2) 16’x14’ overhead door openings and (1) 3’4”x7’2” walk door. The steel building also features several customizations added with regard for the climate characteristics of Pick City and the surrounding landscape, among them a 35-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

Home to just a few hundred residents, Pick City is a part of North Dakota’s Mercer County. It sits about 64 miles south of Minot and roughly 172 miles outside Williston.

Metal Building Outlet was the supplier of these (2) pre-engineered steel equestrian buildings in White Shield, North Dakota, in October of 2019.

Currently functioning as riding arenas, the (2) steel equestrian buildings offer unparalleled strength and durability, delivering reliable protection for animals and riders. The larger of the buildings is an expansive 100’x310’x16’ in size, while the second, smaller metal arena stands 33’x310’x16’. Both buildings have high overhead clearance, making them safe for their intended usage, and they both have rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 1:12 pitch overhead, protecting the riding areas from the North Dakota elements.

As far as accessibility, the steel equestrian buildings have (6) framed openings between them, which include (3) 14’x14’ overhead door openings and (3) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (3) 3070 walk doors. They also feature 43-pound snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings; customizations made in consideration of North Dakota’s sometimes-harsh climate and the building code restrictions currently in place at the address.

Now in use as an aircraft hangar, the metal building features rugged, reliable steel construction, resulting in unparalleled protection for stored planes and helicopters. Once erect, the steel hangar stands 50’x70’x20’ in size, and it features a wide clear-span so it can easily accommodate aircraft in a range of different sizes.

Ash Gray in color, the metal hangar features (5) framed openings throughout, and these include (1) 40’x16’ opening, (2) 3070 walk door openings and (2) 14’x16’ overhead openings. Overhead, a damage- and corrosion-resistant roof made from Galvalume panels offers premium protection from the elements while boasting a 2:12 roof pitch. Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Killdeer, North Dakota in August, 2013.  Located less than an hour from Watford City and Dickinson.  This Nucor building was erected by the owner, his friends and family.

The exterior walls of this personal shop and storage are brick red and the 2:12 pitch roof is polar white.  The finished size of the building is 60’x120’x16’. In order to  accommodate the climate of Dunn County (wind and snow), this building is rated for wind speeds up to 90 MPH and 35 PSF ground snow levels.

Additionally this shop and storage building has an energy saving fiberglass insulation package.  The roof and walls are insulated with a single layer of 6” R-19 insulation. There are several entrances into the building  (3) 16’x14’ overhead doors and (3) 3’x7’ walk doors.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Killdeer, North Dakota in August, 2013 for a resident of Dunn County.  The building is being erected in stages, allowing the owner to manage his budget for this steel shop building.  The shop, when complete, will be located about 50 miles from Watford City and 30 miles from Fairfiled on the owner’s personal property.

The finished size for this shop will be 30’x48’x16’ and the Nucor exterior walls will be white.  The roof will have a 3:12 pitch and be tan. Five 5’x3’ windows will flood the interior with natural light.  Four doors will be installed ( 2) 3’x7’ walk doors and (2) 12’x14’ doors will allow the owner easy access to his building. To meet the climatic demands of this region, the building has a wind speed of 90 MPH and a ground snow load of 40 PSF.

Killdeer, ND is a small town near the Killdeer Mountains. The local economy of Killdeer depends largely on the oil industry and seasonal hunting.  Larger cities in the area would be Williston & Dickinson.

This sturdy & multi-functional Nucor building was purchased from Metal Building Outlet in July of 2005 by Freedom Oilfield Services, Inc. located in Killdeer, North Dakota.  Freedom Oilfield Service is a trucking, heating, pumping and oilfield service company for the Rocky Mountain Region. The building was designed with a truck maintenance shop, a truck wash bay and office space for the company.

Killdeer, ND has a population of approximately 750. Killdeer is near the Killdeer Mountains and is known in Dunn County and surrounding areas for being the heart of “Cowboy Country” hosting North Dakota’s oldest PRCA rodeo.  It is approximately 35 miles from Dickinson and 100 miles from Williston.
