Both energy efficient and exceedingly durable, the building is crafted from top-quality steel components and stands 40’x60’x12’ in size. Now serving as a shop area, the building boasts a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof overhead with a 1:12 roof pitch. The building features (3) doorframe openings and (2) 3070 20-gauge knock-down steel doors.

To keep the building’s energy costs low while helping everyone inside stay comfortable regardless of outside temperatures, R-13 metal building insulation is installed in the structure’s roof and walls. The building is also designed with a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 10 lbs. These inclusions were made during construction in consideration of the climate and weather patterns characteristic of the Jonesville area.

Set within north-central South Carolina’s Union County, the town of Jonesville is situated about 45 miles outside Rock Hill and about 18 miles from Spartanburg.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Honea Path, South Carolina in December, 2013.  The owner of this building purchased two buildings for his personal property at that time.  One is used as a horse stall and this one is used as his personal residence.  This home features solar panels and the owner lives off the grid, using solar energy and well water – less than an hour’s travel to Greenville and Spartanburg in northwest South Carolina.

This Nucor metal building features many doors and windows and has a finished size of 50’x75’x12’.  The roof for this building has a 1.6:12 pitch.  There are (3) 3’x7’ walkdoors, (2) 9’x8’ overhead doors, and (1)10’x10’ overhead door which were purchased for this house.  There are (5) 4.5’x3’, (1) 3’x3’ and (1) 9’x5’2” windows to flood the interiors of the home with natural light.

Since the Anderson and Abbeville area is known for high winds, this house is rated for winds up to 115 MPH.  The roof snow load is 7.5 PSF. To keep this building comfortable in different weather, the walls and roof are insulated with high quality single layer 6” fiberglass insulation panels with an R-19 rating.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Hollywood, South Carolina in April, 2013.  This metal shop building features high quality Nucor components and is located in southeastern South Carolina about twenty minutes from Green Pond and Charleston.

The exterior walls of this personal shop are light stone and the roof is galvalume.  The finished size of the shop is 30’x40’x13’.  There are two entrances to this building a 3’x7’ walk door and a 16’x8’ overhead door.  It is built to withstand the high winds that Mother Nature dishes out to residents of Charleston County and is rated for wind speed of 130 MPH.  Snow load for the 2:12 pitched roof of this metal shop is 4 PSF.
