Metal Buildings in Catlett, Virginia
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of prefabricated metal buildings in Catlett, Virginia in February of 2021.
The larger of the (2) steel buildings now functions as a residence and has a 14’ hip porch surrounding it, while the smaller of the pair undergoes use as a garage. Comprised of rugged, fire-resistant steel components, the metal home is 65’x60’x16’ when raised, while the steel garage stands 55’x52’x20’.
Overhead, each building has a heavy-duty Galvalume Plus gable roof providing protection from the elements, with the metal home’s roof offering a 3:12 pitch and the metal garage’s roof, a 4:12 pitch. There are (4) framed door openings providing access inside the metal home and garage. All of the door openings have painted trim, improving the aesthetics of the steel buildings.
The metal residence and steel garage also have several climate-related customizations that adhere to local building codes, including 21-psf snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings.
