Metal Buildings in Cheney, Washington
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of pre-engineered metal buildings in Cheney, Washington, in early March of 2022.
Featuring attractive, Charcoal Gray exteriors, the buildings feature premium-quality steel construction, with the first and main building standing 40’x80’x15’ and the second, smaller, structure, a roof-only lean-to, standing 13’x60’x11.5’. Both buildings have broad clear spans that create open, column-free interiors, and overhead each sporting a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume Plus roof. The main building has a gable-style roof with a 4:12 pitch, while the metal lean-to has a single-slope roof with a slight 2:12 roof pitch.
The climate-controlled main metal building contains (21) framed door and window openings in a variety of different sizes. Distributed throughout are (2) 6070 openings for walk doors, (3) 3070 openings for walk doors, (1) 12’x8’ framed door opening, and (15) framed window openings that allow plenty of natural light inside.
An insulation package is another important feature, with 6” of R-19 insulation installed in the roof of the main building and 4.25” of R-13 insulation installed in its walls. A 30-PSF snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations made to both structures in accordance with the building and engineering codes currently in place in Cheney.
