Metal Buildings in Chesaning, Michigan
Metal Building Outlet sourced this pair of pre-engineered metal buildings in Chesaning, Michigan in February of 2021.
Serving double-duty as shops and storage spaces, the insulated, energy-efficient steel buildings offer superior strength and durability, leading to reliable protection for assets and goods housed inside. The first building, Building A, is 60’x120’x21’ and has a Galvalume gable roof. The second structure, Building B, is 32’x120’x21’x18’4” when erect and has a corrosion-resistant Galvalume single-slope roof providing protection from above.
The roofs of the metal shop and storage building contain 6” of fiberglass insulation, while the walls hold 4” layers of insulation. Both the roof and wall insulation have heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing attached to the interior-facing side, which protects the insulation blankets from condensation and premature damage.
Distributed between the (2) steel buildings are (14) framed door and window openings in a variety of sizes. Engineered to comply with the building and engineering codes in place in Chesaning, the steel buildings also feature 21-psf roof snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings.
