Steel Building in Chinook, Montana
Metal Building Outlet provided this premanufactured steel building for a customer in Chinook, Montana, in September of 2017.
Rugged, functional and efficient, the building stands strong in the face of Montana’s long, unforgiving winters, and it now serves as a shop. Hawaiian blue in color, it offers a finished size of 30’x40’x11’ once erect, and overhead, it sports a corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch.
Distributed throughout the metal shop are (9) framed openings, among them (2) 10’x8’ openings, (1) 3’4”x7’2” opening and (6) 4040 windows that allow for plenty of sun exposure inside. Additional accommodations include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 59-pound snow load, inclusions made with regard for the weather and climate characteristics of Chinook and the surrounding area. A sparsely populated city in north-central Montana’s Blaine County, Chinook lies about 21 miles from Harlem, Montana, and about 135 miles outside the city of Great Falls.
