Cold-Formed Steel Shop, Lean-To in Elizabeth, Colorado
In June 2022, Metal Building Outlet delivered this cutting-edge, cold-formed metal building and attached lean-to to Elizabeth, Colorado. Together, they serve double-duty as a bustling workshop and a spacious garage space, giving the owner a safe, secure place to store cars and other goods while keeping them out of the Colorado elements.
Metal Building Outlet worked in close conjunction with the client to design and personalize these structures, adding abundant windows throughout and 4’ of wainscoting along all four exterior walls. A high-performance insulation system comprised of R-32 Energy Saver roof insulation and R-25 wall insulation ensures a comfortable atmosphere for storage, work or creative efforts. The buildings’ cold-formed construction, meanwhile, meant speedy fabrication and delivery times, reducing shipping and construction costs for the owner.
Customized throughout, the steel buildings have high wind and snow loads, meeting all local building codes. The metal shop and lean-to attachment also feature gutters and downspouts along the roofs, helping guard against condensation.
