Now undergoing use as a shop by a moving and storage company, the building features top-of-the-line steel construction, resulting in optimal strength and durability. The building kit arrived at the jobsite in partially assembled sections, streamlining erection, and when raised, the steel shop is an expansive 110’8”x73’8”x40’3”.
It has a clear span that maximizes available floor space by eliminating interior trusses or supporting members, and high overhead clearance further enhances versatility while easily accommodating large vehicles. Overhead, the metal shop has a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 1:12 pitch providing reliable protection from the Colorado elements.
Engineered to comply with the building and engineering codes currently in place in Colorado Springs, the metal shop building also boasts a high, 130-mph wind speed rating and a snow load of 30-psf.
