Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Colusa, California, in early March of 2015.
The energy-efficient metal building is now used as a shop by the owner. Crafted from rugged Nucor Building Systems components, the large building structure has a finished size of 60’x140’18’ and is covered by a corrosion-resistant galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch.
Building features include (1) 16’x16’ framed opening and (1) that stands 20’x16’. It also boasts (6) skylights to brighten the interior and make the most of natural sunlight, and it has (2) 20-gauge steel 3070 walk doors for convenient user access.
Colusa generally experiences a mild, warm climate with light annual precipitation. To ensure user comfort, low energy expenditures and supreme durability year-round, the building was constructed with energy-efficient R-10 insulation in the roof and walls, as well as a wind speed of 110 mph.
Colusa is located along the Sacramento River and is a part of Northern California’s Colusa County. It sits about 44 miles outside Chico and 25 miles from Yuba City.
