Steel RV Storage Building in Como, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel RV storage building for a customer in Como, Colorado, in late June of 2019.
Attractive and functional, the building currently undergoes use as an RV storage building, and it features a Light Stone exterior and a Fern Green-colored roof that blend well with the surrounding property. The storage building stands 30’x40’x14’ in size once raised, offering the high overhead clearance RV storage demands, and it also features a wide clear span, freeing up as much usable square footage as possible.
The building’s heavy-duty metal roof resists corrosion and has a 3:12 pitch, and (5) framed openings serve as additional steel building customizations. Included are (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door, (2) 12’x12’ overhead openings enclosing (2) 12’x12’ overhead doors and (2) 3’x3’ windows that let plenty of natural sunlight inside.
In consideration of Como’s mountainous location and stringent building code requirements, a 130-mph wind speed rating and a high, 80-pound snow load serve as additional storage building characteristics. Part of Park County, in the Rocky Mountains, the sparsely populated community of Como sits about 9 miles northeast of Fairplay and about 30 miles outside Bailey.
