Steel Building in Crescent City, Nevada

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered steel building for a customer in Crescent City, Nevada, in early August, 2016.

Light stone in color and exceedingly durable, the building is crafted from top-of-the-line steel materials and stands 40’x80’x14’ in size. Now used as a shop, the metal building’s corrosion-resistant roof has a 2.5:12 pitch and is made of hardwearing Galvalume metal. Distributed throughout the building are (8) framed openings, among them (1) 14’x14’ opening, (3) 12’x12’ openings and (4) 3070 openings intended for walk doors. In consideration of the variable climate of the Crescent City area and the region’s propensity for precipitation and occasional severe weather, a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. serve as additional project features.

An unincorporated community and census-designated place set within central Nevada’s Eureka County, Crescent City is part of the Elko Micropolitan Statistical Area. It sits about 61 miles outside Elko and 49 miles from Battle Mountain.
