Pre-engineered Metal Building in Cypress, Texas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a buyer in Cypress, Texas, in February of 2016.

Attractive, low maintenance and exceedingly durable, the steel building stands 40’x80’x13’2” in size and now serves as a shop for the owner. Constructed using premium-grade steel components, the building boasts polar white paint and a complementing Galvalume metal roof with a 4:12 pitch overhead. Included in the project are (2) 16’x9’ openings, (1) 12’x12’ opening, (2) 4070 steel walk doors for easy user access and (6) 3’x3’ light-transmitting window panels to enhance the presence of natural sunlight inside the structure.

A snow load of 5 lbs. and a wind speed of 30 mph serve as additional project features. These inclusions were made in consideration of the humid-subtropical climate of Cypress and the surrounding region. An unincorporated community in eastern Texas’ Harris County, Cypress is situated about 114 miles outside Port Arthur and 69 miles from Huntsville.
