Used for equipment storage, the durable, energy-efficient metal building is Burnished Slate in color and stands 40’x60’x14’ once raised. It has a combination of Burnished Slate and Black trim, enhancing its curb appeal, and its clear-span design creates an open, column-free interior.
Overhead, the steel storage building sports a rugged, corrosion-resistant Black roof with a 5:12 pitch, and (4) framed door openings offer access inside. Distributed throughout the metal storage building are (1) 12’x10’ opening enclosing a 12’x10’ Series 2000 roll-up Coal Black canister door with a chain hoist, (2) 10’x9’ openings holding (2) 10’x9’ Series 2000 roll-up Coal Black canister doors with chain hoists and (1) 3’x7’ opening enclosing (1) 3’x7’ White walk door.
An insulation package keeps heating and cooling bills low and the storage building’s interior temperatures comfortable and consistent. A 40’x20’ section of the roof has 6” of R-19 insulation inside, while a 40’x40’ section of the roof and the walls of the building contain 3.25” of R-10 insulation.
A 5-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional features added with regard for local building and engineering codes.
