Metal Building in Denton, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Denton, North Carolina, in February of 2016.
The energy-efficient, low-maintenance building stands 80’x200’x18’ when fully erect, and it is now used as a shop by the owner. The building’s roof has a 1:12 pitch and is crafted from hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal, and inside the structure are (4) framed openings. These include (2) 14’x14’ openings and (2) 3070 walk doors to allow for easy user access.
Installed in the roof of the metal shop building is R-13 insulation, while the building’s walls hold R-10 insulation. The insulation package dramatically decreases energy expenditures for the building while enhancing interior comfort and noise control at the same time. Additional features include a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 10 lbs. These additions were made during construction to ensure maximum durability with respect to the region’s typical climate.
A part of central North Carolina’s Davidson County, the town of Denton lies about 40 miles outside Greensboro and about 37 miles from Concord.
