Steel Storage Buiding in Dinwiddie, Virginia

Metal Building Outlet provided this premanufactured steel building for a customer in Dinwiddie, Virginia, in October of 2017.

Energy efficient and engineered to last the long haul, the metal building stands 30’x52’x10’ in size, and its owners now use it for storage purposes. A rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch provides protection from above, and (4) framed openings varying in size offer easy access inside and ample natural sunlight for building users. Included are (1) 10’x8’ opening, (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed opening and (2) 3’x3’ windows.

An insulation package keeps energy bills low and stored goods at appropriate temperatures, regardless of outside weather patterns. In its roof, the building contains R-19 insulation, while R-13 insulation panels sit within its walls. A snow load of 30 pounds and a wind speed rating of 115 mph serve as additional features added with regard for Virginia’s variable climate and distinct seasonal weather patterns. A small, unincorporated area tucked within Dinwiddie County, the community of Dinwiddie lies about 43 miles southeast of Richmond and about 22 miles outside Petersburg.
