Steel Workshop Building in Eagle, Idaho
Metal Building Outlet was the supplier of this preconstructed steel workshop building in Eagle, Idaho, in late August of 2019.
Attractive and immensely versatile, the building features a striking, Crimson Red exterior, and it now operates as a shop. Rugged and built to last, it boasts a finished, fully raised size of 24’x40’x10’ and an open, clear span design that makes the most of usable space by eliminating interior trusses or supports.
The steel shop features a robust Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch overhead, which offers a solid level of protection against the elements, and (3) framed openings serve as additional features, among them (2) 8’x8’ openings and (1) 3’x7’ opening. In consideration of Idaho’s variable, sometimes unpredictable climate conditions, a 20-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load serve as additional workshop customizations.
Part of the Boise Foothills, the city of Eagle is a part of Ada County. The community lies about 10 miles northwest of Boise and about 7 miles north of Meridian.
