Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building kit for a customer in Elkhart, Indiana, in May of 2019.

Spacious, multifunctional and energy efficient, this building features durable, damage-resistant steel construction and when raised, it stands an expansive 100’x288’x16’ in size. Used for miscellaneous purposes, it has a rugged, corrosion-resistant steel roof with a 1:12 pitch overhead, offering reliable protection from the elements, pests and other sources of damage. It also counts (5) 10’x12’ ridge vents among its key features, which help extend the life of the roof while improving the building’s energy efficiency.

Also making the metal shop highly energy efficient is a high-performance insulation package. The steel shop has a layer of R-29 insulation in its roof, while another layer of R-25 insulation sits within its walls. While it helps lower energy costs, the insulation package also helps with noise control and creates a more comfortable environment for shop users.

Located in northern Indiana, the city of Elkhart is part of Elkhart County. The area lies about 15 miles east of South Bend, Indiana, and about 110 miles east of Chicago, Illinois.
