Trio of Steel Equestrian Buildings in Williston, South Carolina
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel stable and (2) attached metal lean-tos for a client in Williston, South Carolina, in February 2023.
All three equestrian buildings have impressive curb appeal thanks to painted exteriors and cupolas, and the main stable building also has 4’ of wainscoting surrounding all four sides. There are 2’ overhangs along the stable and both lean-tos that create dry, covered outdoor space, and both steel lean-tos also feature matching, reverse-roll 26-gauge PBR roof liners.
Insulated and climate-controlled to ensure a comfortable environment for horses and building users, all (3) equestrian buildings feature R-19 insulation in their roofs and R-13 insulation in the walls. The insulation blankets have VRR+ facing on the inward-facing side, which helps protect the insulation from damage and condensation.
All buildings have gutters and downspouts that help keep water from piling up on the roof, and MBO also included a South Carolina engineer-stamped foundation plan with the building kits to enhance stability and ensure a strong foundation.
