Metal Building in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, in early March of 2015.
Now used as a bus barn and storage area for Fort Calhoun Community Schools, the strong steel building features light stone paint and is crafted from durable, rugged Nucor Building Systems components. Overhead is a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. In consideration of the typical weather and precipitation patterns commonly seen in and around Fort Calhoun, a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 25 lbs. were included at the time of construction.
A small city set within Washington County in Eastern Nebraska, Fort Calhoun sits about 78 miles from Lincoln and 18 miles outside Omaha.
