Steel Building in Fort Collins, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Fort Collins, Colorado, in November of 2019.
Now undergoing use as a sheet metal fabrication shop, the building offers the uncompromised structural integrity a manufacturing operation requires. Tan in color, it stands 80’x150’x25’ in size, featuring high overhead clearance that enhances the business’s production capabilities. Its roof is comprised of rugged Galvalume metal and has a 3:12 pitch, while (12) framed openings make the shop easily accessible for staff members.
Found throughout the metal manufacturing space are (6) 3070 walk doors, (3) 18’x16’ overhead doors and (3) 6040 walk doors. Other building characteristics include a 35-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating, which comply with applicable building code requirements while making the building well-suited for Northern Colorado’s sometimes-unpredictable climate.
Home to Colorado State University, the city of Fort Collins is part of Larimer County. The community sits about 60 miles north of Denver and roughly 45 miles south of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
