Metal Building in Gallup, New Mexico
Metal Building Outlet was the supplier of this pre-engineered metal building in Gallup, New Mexico, in June of 2019.
Robust, easy to raise and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, this building stands 40’x80’x16’ once erect and undergoes use as a shop. It has a clear-span design that eliminates interior obstructions, maximizing usable floor space, and it also has high ceilings, enhancing versatility.
The roof of the shop is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel. Designed to resist corrosion, the roof has a slight 1:12 pitch and a layer of R-19 insulation inside it. The shop’s walls contain R-13 insulation, with the insulation package lowering energy and ownership expenses while creating amore comfortable work environment.
Other noteworthy project attributes include colored gutters and downspouts that prevent water from pooling atop the shop or around its foundation and several climate-related customizations, among them a 15-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load.
