Metal Garage Building in Parker, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal garage building in Parker, Colorado, in January of 2016.
Boasting burnished slate-colored paint with complementing fern-green trim and a brick red roof overhead, the aesthetically pleasing, low maintenance and energy-efficient metal building now serves as a garage. It stands 40’x64’x16’ in size and is covered and protected by a corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 3:12 roof pitch.
Inside the structure are (3) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x12’ opening and (2) 16’x8’ openings. Installed in the roof is high-performing R-30 insulation, while the walls contain R-25 insulation. In addition to reducing energy expenditures associated with the building, the insulation helps with noise control and interior comfort.
Additional project features include a snow load of 35 lbs. and a wind speed of 115 mph; inclusions that were made in consideration of the typical climate in the Parker area.
Located in central Colorado’s Douglas County, Parker lies about 25 miles from Kiowa and about 24 miles from Watkins.
