Roof-Only Building in Gaston, South Carolina

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal roof-only building for a customer in Gaston, South Carolina, in January of 2016.

Now serving as a shop for the owner, the roof-only structure with open walls boasts a finished size of 80’x120’x16’. Constructed from hardwearing, premium-quality steel components, the building is covered and protected above by a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch.

Additional steel building features include a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 10 lbs. These inclusions were made with respect to the climate and weather patterns typical throughout Gaston and the surrounding region. Located within central South Carolina’s Lexington County, the town of Gaston is a part of the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town lies about 15 miles outside the state capital of Columbia and about 6 miles outside Swansea.
