Now in use as a shop, the sustainable, low-maintenance building features high-quality steel construction, leading to superior strength and durability. When erect, the metal building is 60’x30’x16.5’ and has high ceilings and a versatile, clear-span design.
Overhead, a corrosion-resistant roof comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel sheeting offers protection from above and features a 1:12 pitch, and (5) framed door openings offer easy access inside the building. Distributed throughout the metal shop are (1) 14’x14’ overhead door opening, (3) 3’x7’ walk door openings and (1) 16’x14’ overhead door opening.
Engineered to comply with the building and engineering codes currently in place in Gillette, the steel shop also boasts a 120-mph wind speed rating and a 35-psf roof snow load.
