Steel Workshop Building in Grand Junction, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet sourced this premanufactured steel building in Grand Junction, Colorado, in January of 2018.
Energy efficient, versatile and inherently low maintenance, the building boasts a striking, Rustic Red exterior and a complementing Burnished Slate metal roof with a 2:12 pitch. Following an easy erection process, the building stands 50’x60’x16’ in size, and it now functions as a workshop for its owner.
An insulation package that includes high-performance R-30 insulation in the roof and R-19 insulation in the walls allows the building’s owners to enjoy considerable energy savings throughout the year. Additionally, a 30-pound snow load and a 90-mph wind speed rating further enhance durability with respect for the climate of Grand Junction and the surrounding landscape.
Additional metal workshop characteristics include (3) framed openings; (2) 12’x14’ openings and (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door. A city set within west-central Colorado’s Mesa County, Grand Junction is the most-populated city located along Colorado’s Western Slope. It is situated along the Colorado River, about 12 miles from Fruita and roughly six miles outside Clifton.
