Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) steel buildings to a customer in Greenville, Illinois, in late July, 2014. They now serve as a shop.
Constructed from Nucor Building Systems components, the first of the two pre-engineered buildings stands 12’x18’12’ and has a 2:12 roof pitch, while the second of the two stands 10’x40’x10’ with a 2:12 roof pitch. The City of Greenville experiences inconsistent weather patterns and typically sees an average of 16 lbs. of snowfall per year, and as such, these steel buildings both have a ground snow load of 20 lbs. They were also both constructed with wind speeds of 90 mph.
Greenville lies within Bond County, Illinois, and is considered a part of both the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Metro East region of Illinois. It lies about 69 miles outside the City of Springfield, Illinois, and about 884 miles from Decatur, Illinois.
